Online auto insurance quotes are new to Farmers. From their website: "* This service is currently limited to California, Colorado and Nevada residents only." So if you are not in CA, CO, or NV, you'll have to call a Farmers agent.

"Farmers FastQuote only gives [auto insurance] estimates, not official rates." And "a Farmers customer with similar characteristics as those you entered would have a six month auto insurance premium of approximately..."

The Farmers auto insurance estimated premium was very low on my half (I have a clean driving record & older vehicle) but my wife, with 1 ticket and a new car, was over five fold higher (estimate) than we are paying now! Apparently Farmers auto insurance does not like tickets or higher priced vehicles. If you have an older, lowered valued car, they may be a good option. The interface would not let us drop our collision deductible less than $500.
